My good friend Jerry sent this out to his community. The timing was perfect for me. I imagine it will be perfect for you too. Please read it with care.
With love,
Lisa
For the record, it’s approximately 10:15am Central Time on Nov. 8th, 2016 and I’m sure
you know that later tonight (maybe in the wee hours or possibly well before) we will know
who has won the United States Presidential Election.

If you are like most of the people I’ve personally spoken with about the election, you are probably sure that your preferred candidate of choice will win (or at least should win because why would anyone in their right mind vote for that “other person”) but you may have quite a bit of anxiety about it.

Well… Let me ease your Nerves and tell you exactly what will happen…
***Spoiler Alert*** (My Prediction is Coming So Tune out if you Don’t want to Know)

….
Oh, you are still with me.  Ok, then here it is:  One of Two Candidates will be named the next President of the United States (Either Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump).  And guess what? Either way, the Sun will still Rise and Fall pretty much as it has been for a long, long time. Regardless of who wins, your Mortgage (or Rent) payment will still be due, the Utility Company will still expect payment, your Kids will still require your Love and Support, there will still be Trials and Tribulations, and there will be another Presidential Election in another 4 years here in the USA – just like clockwork.Yes, I know you’ve learned a lot about certain folks that you didn’t realize before this election cycle started. You’ve probably had a few heated (let’s call them debates) with friends and family members about their candidate of choice.  Maybe you think they are crazy for supporting who they support – and don’t worry – it’s likely they think the same about you.
However, when it’s all said and done, we are all human beings.  We are ultimately in this together.  Even though we may not all see eye to eye on certain policies, it doesn’t mean we must isolate ourselves from those who don’t agree with our way of seeing things.  I say this because regardless of who wins the election – at least 50% of the population will not be happy.  Yep, we are so polarized that there are folks having nightmares of what would happen if “He” wins or what will happen if “She” wins.
Yes, elections have consequences, I get that (and yes you should Vote, contribute to, and or even make phone calls, etc. to support your preferred candidate).  But understand that when it comes to elections, all you can do is all you can do.  If you can Vote, but don’t Vote, then you haven’t done all that you can do.  If you can contribute – in whatever way you can – but don’t contribute, then you haven’t done all you can do.  So, if you are truly passionate about one candidate over the other – then do what you can about it.  But remember what Arthur Williams said, “All You Can Do is All You Can Do, but All you can Do is Enough.”  Just know that once you’ve done what you can, let the chips fall where they may – and then, as tough as it may be, honor the chips wherever they ended up falling.  In other words, regardless of the result, realize that you can then make another choice about how you are going to choose to navigate through whatever political terrain you find yourself in.
Ultimately, what I’m saying is the Prediction about who is going to win Tonight (or who has already Won based on when you are reading this) is not as important as the Prediction about what you are going to do, both right now and moving forward, that will allow you to take care of all the obligations you will still be responsible for.
So, what will it be? What are you choosing?  How will you allow yourself to be if your preferred candidate loses?  What commitment are you willing to make, Right Now, that will be one of Empowerment regardless if your preferred Candidate Wins or Loses?

Don’t leave your life and the outcome you produce in the hands of whether your preferred Candidate Wins or Loses.  You can Choose to personally Win regardless of who Wins this Election.

Elect Yourself as Producer in Chief of your Life.
Until next time…
Go, Go, Go!!!

P.S.  One more thing… If your Candidate happens to Win, take it a bit easier on your friends and family members who were on the other side of the equation.  Realize that they are genuinely hurting.  There’s no need for you to make it worse.  Some of them may need a bit of time to heal.  There’s a lot of people who put a lot of emotional energy into this very unusual, deeply dividing, and highly polarizing campaign season.  They are wounded.  Handle them with Care and Grace (as much as possible).  Be the example that others deserve to follow.
